Finally an active monitor that sounds like a guitar amp. I have tried sooo many FRFRs. Landed at CLRs. But....you have cut so much top and bottom end at the output stage it defeats the purpose of having so much frequency. Especially when that pesky Fletcher Munson guy steps in. With modelling, as soon as you turn it up to gig level, the tone sucks. However the RED SOUNDs are GRFR. That's GUITAR FREQUENCY. No extra top or bottom end roll off needed. They sound and feel like a guitar amp. They like to be turned up loud and that in itself allows me to experiment with so many more amp models that I wouldn't (couldn't) have used with the CLRs. LIGHT....!!! One finger lifting is my new trick to show bandmates. You'll love these. And at this price, you can't go wrong. I love them Andrew. Thank you.
