The Mission TT-F is specifically designed to work as an external instant access (IA) switch for the Fractal Audio MFC-101 MIDI controller and Axe-Fx processor. The TT-F can be connected to the switch input on the MFC-101 and be used to control functions on the Axe-Fx such as tap tempo, bypassing/un-bypassing effects blocks and enabling pre-amp boost. Latching and momentary versions are available. Latching switches give a positive click and are often preferred when toggling effects blocks on and off since you can feel when the switch has been engaged. The momentary switch is a soft touch device with a quieter operation and is often preferred for tap tempo.
A single TT-F can be connected to a switch input on the MFC with a regular mono (TS) guitar cable. Up to two switches can be connected to each switch input by using a TRS-TS insert cable. Using this method a maximum of four TT-F switches can be connected to the two switch inputs on an MFC-101. Further details on connecting switches to the MFC-101 can be found in the Fractal Audio MFC-101 User Manual
The Mission TT-F is available in matt black and metallic red finishes.

I use this as a foot switch to control stop/start in Pro Tools via my 003 and Mbox 2 Pro. I was using a sustain pedal previously, but the Mission TT feels a lot better under foot, as I could never be sure with my old pedal if I'd pushed down hard enough.
I'd give this a 5 star rating if it didn't lack rubber feet to stop it moving around on my floor. But I guess that's easily overcome.
