Hiscox cases are constructed of a leather textured high impact A.B.S (Acrylonitrile Butadeine Styrene) hard plastic outer shell bonded directly to an inner molding manufactured from a unique `High Tech' plastic foam. 

The inner foam molding is semi-rigid,being soft enough to cushion the most delicate of instruments & yet firm enough to provide incredible structural rigidity when bonded to the outer shell. All Hiscox cases exhibit enormous improved crush strength (comfortably supporting the weight of 500kg).
